There’s been hushed whisperings in ghosting through the city of a woman that showed up in the middle of the night and no one can quite… place. One defining characteristic is her strange eye, which is great, because the rest of her features are difficult to determine. No one can really decide if she looks more like a cat or a dog, and her scent is… off. Somehow. The smile that curls her lips only promises trouble if you manage to catch a conversation with her- or as much of a conversation as you can have with someone who also doesn’t seem to talk much. It seems she has her own plans to execute.
If you have friends on the other side, (shame on you!) maybe you learn that the same rumors have tilted their ears. Evidently, she belongs to no one. Of course, we can’t have that now, can we?
Find her.
Thanks to a comrade, or two, of yours, her whereabouts have been exposed. Though your superiors have issued an order to bring her in for questioning, anyone that has tried has found that she’s rather… slippery. It seems as though whenever someone with hostile intentions gets close, she disappears without a trace! More perplexedly, she can be found immediately after by a friendlier face. This leaves everyone involved confounded, and she never once loses that shitty smile.
Our new friend(?) promises to help her ‘friendly’ faces, however. If you’ve found any knick knacks that may be useful, she’ll pay a pretty franc or two. Maybe more. Trash? She laughs and promptly tosses it over her shoulder. Why didn’t you do that sooner? Whatever, either way your pockets get freed up.
Part Three Coming Soon! Try and catch her in the mean time, if you want some brownie points from your superiors. The attempt may be especially helpful for those who are on the cutting board.
After all that has happened with the strange woman, you are eventually instructed that you are to add exploring the outer limits of the city in addition to your daily patrols. Whether you decide this is an endeavor worth your time or not is another matter,
as the request isn't necessary. It's still preferred you keep the others on their side of the wall as first priority.
This is NOT a mandatory event.
